Deepti Mathur (Co-Founder)
Dips LOVES to dance.  Her passion started with classical Indian dance, and she completed her Arangetram in Bharatnatyam with Smt. Indira Satyapriya.  From there, there was no turning back - she went on to choreograph intricate Bollywood dance numbers as well as a smattering of Hip Hop and Bellydance, performing at collegiate shows, cultural events, and during the visit of the Ambassador of India.  She also served as a captain of the Raas team at her beloved alma mater of Cornell (Ithaca is Gorges!), taking her enjoyment of Navratri Garba to the competition stage.  Shout out to Columbia's Dance Haven group and Jhatka for giving her opportunities to dance ever since she moved to NYC.

When she's not dancing at your neighborhood club, she can be found doing science, which currently involves investigating breast cancer as a PhD student at Columbia.  Her other favorite activities include eating like a typical New York foodie, frolicking (literally) in Central Park, and playing Mario Cart with her little sister.
